DENJI & REZE

This is a love letter to a specific type of longing, the type of longing found within the Chainsaw Man Reze arc, and the challenge was to represent that longing visually within a single image without explaining it to death.

The poster is split into two halves. The top is a deep blue, with the main quote prominently displayed in a combination of serif and script font. The bottom is a lighter teal, with the two characters sitting, facing away from the viewer, looking at something out of frame. The split between the two is meant to evoke the look of a poster that has been folded up, carried around.

The characters themselves are represented by the soft blur of the original manga images. Not high-definition, but impressionistic. The dialogue balloons with the characters' actual words are a nod to the original comic book format, for fans of the material.

The corner text is there to give it a sense of fictional authenticity, as if it were a real movie release.

What this shows a client: if you're an anime creator, a manga publisher, a convention, or a fan brand that wants visuals that honor the emotional core of the source material rather than just stacking characters on a background — I understand the language and I work inside it with care.
