LONELINESS OR SOLITUDE
Personal Project | Cinematic / Dreamy / Emotional

The brief came from a feeling, not a client, which is the hardest brief to execute because there is no approval process, no revision round, just whether it's honest or not.
The concept exists in the space between two states, both of which look the same from the outside but feel completely different from the inside: loneliness and solitude.
The visual had to represent both at the same time without ever explaining either.
A real photo, taken at night on a snow-covered staircase, forms the background: one figure sits in the cold, physically present.
The second figure, standing next to the first, is drawn exclusively with loose black scribble lines, physically absent.
A companion that exists only as a feeling.
The snow particles, the lens flare, bleed the image into a space between memory and dream.
The text exists at the extremes: "LONELINESS" and "SOLITUDE" are both represented by a heavy, imposing white display font, loud titles for quiet feelings.
The word "or" is represented by a red calligraphic script, fragile, human, against the weight of everything else.
The footer text, "Find me somewhere only we know," runs like a whisper at the very bottom of the page.
The coral-orange border frame contains everything, giving the chaos of the image a formal edge — like an old photograph of something you're still not over.
What this shows a client: if you're a musician sitting on something emotional and don't know how to make it visual — I start exactly where you are. With the feeling
